As a graduate of both the Maryland Institute College of Art and the Schuler School in Baltimore MD, Cynthia has genuinely perfected a balance of sharp technical facility and soft, gentle atmosphere on her canvases. Hand grinding her own pigments for each days sitting and using traditional materials and techniques, she creates works that invite the viewer into the picture by reminding us of the simple and timeless beauty of nature.
